Soil drenching and foliar spray with bioagents for reducing wheat leaf diseases under natural field conditions

چکیده

Abstract Foliar diseases, like powdery mildew, septoria leaf blotch (SLB) and stem rust, affect wheat plants causing severe yield losses. Biofertilizers Pseudomonas fluorescens Migula (NRC2041) Bacillus subtilis Ehrenberg (NRC313) or the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi Glomus mosseae Tul. & C. (NRC212A) G. fasciculatum (NRC212B) were used for soil treatment followed by foliar spray with Trichoderma harzianum P. to manage severity of diseases under field conditions two successive growing seasons. Under conditions, at all drench application treatments, Sids 14 was most sensitive cultivar high disease Misr 2 Giza 168. Also, obtained results showed that effective treatments mycorrhizae either T. . Meanwhile, fungicide Amistar a superior reduction in compared other applied treatments. In addition, increased correlated decreased recorded diseases. The present study suggests using bioagents reducing increasing grain conditions.

Evidence of natural hybridization between Aegilops geniculata and wheat under field conditions in Central Spain.

This study deals with hybrids between Aegilops geniculata and bread wheat, Triticum aestivum L., detected in two Ae. geniculata populations in the "Meseta Central", Spain's central plateau where wheat is a major crop. Morphological traits and pentaploid chromosome numbers were used to identify hybrids in 2004 and 2005. The frequency of hybridization under natural conditions was calculated for o...

Nitrogen, phosphor and potassium changes in soil and wheat under foliar application of Leonardite, N and K

This study was carried out in order to evaluate the changes of Nitrogen, phosphor and potassium uptake by wheat and remaining of them in soil under foliar application of Leonardite and foliar application of N and K. The experiment was conducted in Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources during 2013- 2014. The experiment was laid out a using split-plot arrangement based ...

Effect of Seed Treatment and Foliar Spray with Fungicides in Controlling Black Point Disease of Wheat

The efficacy of seed treatment and foliar spray with fungicides in controlling black point incidence of wheat seeds was evaluated in the field. Two seed treating fungicides, namely Vitavax-200 and Homai-80WP were used @ 0.25% of dry seed weight and foliar spray with Tilt-250EC (0.05%) was applied in six different schedules. Untreated and unsprayed controls were also maintained. Seed treatment w...

Saline/Sodic sub-soil on triticale, durum wheat and bread wheat yield under irrigated conditions

Sub-soil (> 30 cm) salinity and sodicity is a growing problem particularly in irrigated agricultural areas with rising water tables, poor water quality and/or deficient soil drainage. There were two objectives in this study; (1) to quantify the effect of sub-soil salinity and sodicity in grain yield of triticale, bread wheat and durum wheat and, (2) to determine if genotypes within and between ...

Relationships between wheat yield, yield components and physico-chemical properties of soil under rain-fed conditions

This research was conducted to study and classify the physico-chemicalproperties of soil, yield components of wheat and to determine the significance ofthese parameters on the grain yield formation. In this research, seven statisticalmethods consisting of simple correlation analysis (SCA), multiple linear regression(MLR), stepwise regression (SR), factor analysis (FA), principal componentanalys...
